Witches & Wizards Halloween
Well we are slightly OBSESSED with Halloween over here at TEAK & LACE and went all out styling a party with our friends Vanessa & Nick Lachey and our little ones! Their new home was the perfect setting for this party! We set up a fun afternoon of PUMPKIN DECORATING, CANDY & no party is complete without a DANCE PARTY. We love mixing budget friendly decor with a few really great staple pieces in our party designs. Using custom pieces from our own TEAK & LACE COLLECTION mixed with dollar spot pieces from my favorite place for fun finds TARGET.

DESSERTS, CANDY & POTIONS BAR With our TEAK & LACE Hedge Wall as a backdrop and our Grey Wood Dessert Table we created this whimsical WITCHES & WIZARDS potion station where the kids could get their sweets and drinks. We used our whimsy wood boxes and vintage books to create height and depth. We also hung spell book pages that blew in the wind to bring them to life.

CANDY
We love Halloween because you can get fun with the candy. Oriental Trading had some amazing finds for the kiddos such as GUMMY EARTH WORMS, WITCH WARTS, WITCH PRETZELS and of course we mixed in our favorite...mini bags of CANDY CORN. I love kids candy in individual bags...we know how sticky little hands can get!
POTIONS
The kids had a blast pretending they were mixing their own smoking potions (dry ice of course;).
We used these cute WITCHES BREW jars with lids for their finished masterpieces.
DESSERT
Don't get me wrong I LOVE custom desserts from specialty bakers but sometimes I like to pick up cupcakes and decorate them myself to go with the theme we're creating. These red velvet cupcakes had WEB CUPCAKE WRAPS & WITCHES HATS from the local craft store.
THE TABLE
Using our KIDS RUSTIC WOOD TABLE, PROPS & CROSS BACK CHAIRS we set this pint size table for our little Witches and Wizards.
We made WITCH BROOM APPLES with broom sticks from a local craft store to add a bit of color to the table.

PUMPKIN DECORATING
It's so fun to see a kids eyes light up when they get to pick a pumpkin! Since we had a mix of ages we had some different decorating options for everyone that they could do themselves. They were so proud of their work. THE CUTEST!
PHOTO BOOTH
All you need is a great tree to create a spooky photo backdrop with webbing, a frame and some spooky cloth.
Cam and Cash are the cutest best buddies!

DANCE PARTY
Every party needs a dance party! Some of the kiddos changed into their Halloween Night costume. Our Em may have thought Cam was the real Olaf.....
More parties coming soon! We are already dreaming up the next one.....Vanessa & I share the same party obsessions...it might be a sickness. At least its a FUN ONE!
